What’s happening in Pikuniku?

Piku wakes up in a cave, awakened by a ghost. The ghost teaches Piku how to run, jump, kick objects, and leap using mushrooms. Eventually, the ghost leads Piku out of the cave and to a village. He arrives at the village and helps its inhabitants. However, Piku encounters rebels and learns about Mr. Sunshine’s evil plan and Sunshine Inc. He and the rebels fight against Sunshine Inc.’s robots, facing danger numerous times. Finally, his confrontation with Mr. Sunshine takes place at a volcano.

Piku thwarted all of Mr. Sunshine’s tricks, and both were then blasted into space by a volcanic eruption. Piku kicked Mr. Sunshine, sending him drifting aimlessly in space. Eventually, Piku fell back to Earth and was greeted by his friends who had fought alongside him.
