Gameplay
After playing Wild Cards for a while, I found that the game doesn’t have too many complicated rules. At the start of the game, you’re given a random deck of cards and can begin playing immediately. Essentially, you just choose one card to be your Hero, and the remaining cards will support that Hero throughout the game. Matches are usually quite fast, with the winner often determined within a few turns.
Specifically, each turn, you have a certain amount of energy that can accumulate. Using cards in your hand will consume this energy. You can play up to three cards to increase your Hero’s power, and they can also combine to create powerful combos. Finally, at the end of your turn, you can choose to attack your opponent or continue accumulating energy. Once your Hero’s energy is full, you can also activate their special ability. What cards are included in Wild Cards?
As mentioned above, Wild Cards features a wide variety of cards covering different themes such as history, pirates, Egypt, Greek mythology, and more. These themes are so diverse that you might sometimes laugh at how they could be included in a card game, unlike Felines, Food, Anatomy, etc. Each theme has approximately 10-16 cards, creating a collection of cards.
However, your battle deck only has a maximum of 13 cards, including one Hero card and 12 support cards. Therefore, you can create countless decks with various strategies. Additionally, during gameplay, these cards, once played, don’t disappear but are shuffled back into the deck, so don’t worry too much about running out of cards. Remember that cards from the same set can create interesting combos. Take advantage of this!
Trading cards
In Wild Cards, if you want to acquire new cards, you can use the in-game currency to purchase blind packs. Of course, depending on the value of the pack you buy, the chance of receiving rare cards will vary significantly. Alternatively, you can go to the Marketplace to find what you want. This is where players trade cards under categories like Wanted and Offered. A long list will be displayed here; if you own a card that another player needs, you can trade it immediately.
If you wish, you can also post a search for the cards you need. Wild Cards prioritizes trading with your friends, so make as many friends as possible. However, this can sometimes be quite expensive because most of the cards players need are rare, so they often demand a price equivalent to or even higher than the actual value.
